The manufacturing industry plays a pivotal role in Gaston County's economy. Not only does it boast the largest workforce in our county, but it also creates the most wages, contributing significantly to our community's prosperity.
The 7th Annual Gaston County Manufacturing Week is scheduled to take place from Monday, October 2nd through Friday, October 6th. It promises an exciting lineup of events and activities, courtesy of the Gaston County Economic Development Commission, that you won't want to miss.

October 2nd - Gaston County Development Roundtable
Join us at Gaston College - Myers Center (B) in Dallas at 12 noon to hear insights from manufacturers, developers, and researchers on conducting business in Gaston County. Lunch will be provided. Please RSVP to Alisha.Summey@gastongov.com.
October 3rd - Career Fair
Looking for job opportunities in manufacturing? Don't miss the Career Fair at the Gaston County Senior Center from 10 AM to 1 PM.

October 4th - Women Who Rock!
Featuring speaker Melany Myers from 104.7 The Mix - Phil & Mel in the Afternoon Show, this event at Camelot Meadows at 3:30 PM is one you won't want to miss. Registration is required.
October 5th - Manufacturing Tours
Get an inside look at how products are made at Owens Corning and Polykemi in the Gastonia Technology Park. The tours start at Owens Corning at 10 AM. RSVPs are requested; please email Alisha.Summey@gastongov.com to reserve your spot.
