The City of Gastonia has an exciting opportunity for those who have a passion for art and a desire to contribute to the beautification of our region.
The City, in collaboration with the NCDOT and Keep Gastonia Beautiful, is thrilled to announce the launch of the Traffic Signal Cabinet Art Project, and they are seeking submissions from local artists.
The project, funded by a $10,000 grant from ElectriCities in 2022, aims to transform ordinary traffic signal cabinets (located downtown and in the FUSE district) into vibrant works of art.
Artists from both North and South Carolina, regardless of age or experience level, are invited to participate.
