GBA Investor, Holy Angels, renowned for its dedicated care and education for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, is expanding its team.

The organization is looking to fill more than 30 positions and will be hosting a job fair at its 6600 Wilkinson Blvd. campus in Belmont. The event will take place from 10 a.m. to noon this Friday, providing a prime opportunity for prospective applicants to explore career opportunities and apply on the spot.

“Holy Angels is not just your everyday place to come and work. It is a place of loving, living and learning not only for our residents, but for the employees because we get to take care of such special people. Our residents have very specific needs. Most are medically fragile. They need special people to take care of them. That means you must have a big heart, and you have to be exceptional. It is a place where when you walk out of here every day you will know you have made a difference,” Holy Angels President and CEO Kerri Massey said.

Here are the top three things to know about the available positions:

  • Holy Angels is looking to hire 25 direct support professionals who will play a crucial role in assisting clients with daily living tasks such as bathing and oral hygiene. These professionals will also engage in basic physical therapy and range of motion exercises, as well as providing essential nursing care.

  • The organization is seeking to strengthen its nursing team by hiring 11 new members, including a registered nurse manager, RN supervisor, licensed practical nurses, and medical technicians. These positions are vital in ensuring the comprehensive medical care of Holy Angels’ residents.

  • Other positions include a job coach for Cherubs Café and Spruced Goose Station, a licensed physical therapy assistant (LPTA), and a housekeeper. The job coach will support employees in retail environments, while the LPTA will assist in bridging clients' needs with appropriate medical care and help the physical therapist develop care programs.

Holy Angels currently provides care for 81 residents aged 15 to 82, emphasizing a compassionate and supportive environment. Interested individuals can find more details and apply at holyangelsnc.org/careers.
