The Gaston Business Association was thrilled to attend the grand opening of EJ's Soul Food, a remarkable addition to our local culinary scene. EJ's Soul Food pays homage to the rich heritage and history of soul food, originating from West Africa and brought to the southern United States by enslaved individuals. It is a cuisine that represents resilience, cultural connections, and the fortitude of a people reclaiming their identity.




EJ's Soul Food goes beyond tradition, providing a welcoming experience for all. They have collaborated with clinically endorsed vegan cookbook author, Dawn Hilton Williams, to create a diverse range of nutrient-rich, vegan starters, soups, salads, sandwiches, entrees, and side options. This intentional inclusion of vegan options demonstrates their commitment to catering to a wide array of dietary preferences and needs.


Furthermore, EJ's has embraced the addition of authentic, island mango, and other premium beverage products by EBN Vegan Cuisine's own Shonda Caines. This commitment to authenticity and quality sets EJ's apart, providing guests with a memorable and satisfying dining experience.
