Meritage Homes, one of the nation's largest homebuilders, is expanding its presence with over 500 homes across three new projects in York and Gaston counties.
Why it matters:Â Calico Creek in Gaston County will include 185 homes in Cherryville, ranging from 1,500 to 2,300 square feet. Meritage is expecting completion and the beginning of sales starting in Spring 2025.
By the numbers: The largest project will be named Meadows at Wilson Farms with a total of 191 homes, located in Fort Mill, and the smallest project will be named Brighton Springs with 167 homes, located in York county. Another project was added in Davie County with 383 Homes, named Nelson Creek.
âAll four of these communities are in highly desirable locations offering buyers affordable homes with quick access to employment centers, schools, shopping, local dining and entertainment," said John Lintner, Meritage Homes' vice president of land acquisition in Charlotte.
