Waterbean Coffee is set to open its very first Gastonia location, and GBA Investor Helt Design is leading the architectural vision for this one-of-a-kind coffee shop.
Why it matters: HELT Design is a full-service architecture and interior design firm specializing in commercial, retail, industrial, restaurant, adaptive reuse, and modern residential projects. Their participation in this 4,200 ft project will be a major addition to the FUSE District of downtown Gastonia.
The big picture: This coffee chain has over 15 locations throughout the Charlotte area, including their Belmont location which has been open since May 2023. This Gastonia location will be their largest location to date.
What’s next: Construction is set to be completed in May 2025 with a Grand Opening in the summer. Stay tuned to learn more about this upcoming project!
